While staff should feel confident giving general dietary advice, some people may benefit from tailored expert advice and/ or more intensive support.
The Eatwell guide (WG 2018) notes that people with special dietary requirements or medical needs might need support from a registered dietitian on how to adapt the guide to meet their individual needs.
