Introduction of Dashboards developed for Primary Care in Wales Webinar

Tuesday 1st July 10:00-11:00

This webinar will introduce two data dashboards developed for primary care in Wales.

The Health Inequalities in Wales Dashboard was developed through collaboration between the NHS Executive and the Primary Care Division of Public Health Wales.

Deprivation is deep-rooted in Wales. Clusters in more deprived areas face greater healthcare challenges, such as increased prevalence of chronic conditions, lower healthy life expectancy, and increased avoidable mortality. Deprivation also impacts healthcare delivery, with observable variations in workforce and prescribing. The dashboard highlights variation across a range of measures, aiming to inspire further investigation, and ultimately improve patient care.

Primary Care Cluster Dashboard was developed by the Public Health Wales Observatory with stakeholders from local public health teams and Welsh Government. The purpose of the Primary Care Clusters Dashboard is to provide a dashboard linked to primary care public health information which will support a range of users and planning, a summary profile allows users to visualise key indicators and compare indicator data with health board and Wales-wide averages.
