Greener Primary Care Wales Engagement Events

We would like to invite you to a contractor specific evening engagement event in Autumn 2024 to let us know what you think about climate change and the Greener Primary Care Wales Framework and Award Scheme.

All the events will run from 19:00 – 20:30

The aim of each event is to gather insight into how and why your profession engage in the climate change agenda. We wish to explore barriers and enablers to participation in the Greener Primary Care Wales Scheme - this builds on the findings of a survey recently conducted that you may have already responded to. Your participation would be hugely appreciated. Perhaps you are already a participant or perhaps you would like to learn more about how to cut your carbon emissions and your costs?
We hope to:

• Discuss further the issues and key themes identified in the original insight survey
• Provide a professional and structured platform for informal peer-to-peer discussion about climate change and the tole of primary care
• Identify new themes, barriers, and enablers to be addressed nationally
• Raise awareness of the Scheme and offer practical advice regarding registration and participation
• Develop recommendations and next steps to address the key themes.

Anyone who is working within General Practice, Primary Care Dental, Primary Care Optometry and Community Pharmacy.
